A rare classic on sale at Via Moto. This 1957 GS150 has been refurbished since its import into the UK in 2000.
The frame underwent a bare metal blast and expensive coach works respray completed in two tone metallic silver & metallic blue.
The engine fitted was a modern Vespa Cosa 200cc with a Malossi 210cc kit, reed valve, larger carburettor and trumpet. To accommodate the bigger carb the engine side panel was cut to allow free movement and air flow along with access to the flip choke lever.
The front end consists of a modern PX front forks with a remote hydraulic front front brake disc set up and front Sip disc caliper. The wheels are 10' (instead of 8' originally) with white wall tyres. This does mean that the stand is slightly to short and will rest on the heavier engine side when deployed.
The Speedo does not work and shows only 2km - but the previous owner stated that he had completed around 300 miles on it since 2020. This can be rectified by the new owner (if required).
It had a full service in October 2020 which included oil change, spark plug, all cables checked and adjusted. In addition the rear hub, castle nut and split pin checked and torque set. Both front & rear wheel nuts tightened and torque set.
The scooter was Dyno tested at John Gilbert scooters and produces 16.63 bhp.
Finance is possible and nationwide delivery also available on request.
